Best Malaysian spot for homestyle Malaysian classics. Highly recommend the Singapore Laksa and the lamb rendang. Flavors were super savory and balanced. There is a massive menu, and the service was fast. Everything was affordable. Highly recommend!

Virtually every dish was a hit here, you just have to know what to order. Amazing Southeast Asian flavors with a number of tastes for different pallets. Curry laksa and the fish cakes were my personal favorite, as were the flat noodles. My friend said to avoid the skewers, just so you know I'm not being biased! Definitely will come back here, the service and the atmosphere makes you really feel like you're in a homey place.

Still holding steady at four stars. There are always a few standout dishes, balanced by some that feel a bit average. The service is warm and efficient, adding to the overall comfortable experience. The Hainanese chicken could use a touch more seasoning, and the dipping sauce leans a bit too sweet for my taste, but the chicken itself is consistently cooked to perfection: tender, silky, and satisfying. The beef satay is another highlight, well-executed and flavorful. The Singapore rice noodles could use some refinement. They’re properly seasoned, but lack anything distinctive to set them apart. The beef chow fun, on the other hand, is done well, the noodles hold their texture without breaking apart, and there’s a nice portion of beef. And don’t skip the treats at the counter, made fresh daily. The roast pork buns and curry puffs are definitely worth trying.

Wow , good food❤️ I love it. I and my friend have ordered Shrimp Wonton Soup, six skewers of pork Malaysian Satay Panggang , Sambal shrimp ( Sautéed shrimps with spicy homemade sauce that served with piece of cucumbers and lime , is was delicious but you need to order white rice, due to it wasn’t come with rice. And we also ordered egg noodles with roasted pork no. 106 if I’m not wrong . It was yummy as well. And for drinks they provided hot tea but we also ordered Malay ice tea . That tastes good. We love it. This restaurant you need to pee cash because they are for cash only. And a restaurant not far from Elmhurst subway station. Staffs were friendly and nice . And price was reasonable. Recommend!!

Of the Malaysia restaurants I’ve tried in New York this one has the widest variety of Malaysia dishes. I feel like the other restaurants have a majority Malaysian dishes but also include the typical American Asian dishes like pad thai, sushi rolls etc. Taste Good has so many dishes I miss from Malaysia and I felt like I wanted to keep ordering more! Service was okay, attentive but nothing above and beyond. The dining room is small, about 8 tables. They can seat large parties. Singapore curry laksa - a very strong coconut flavor but not very heavy on the prawn flavor. They serve it with the thicker glass noodle rather than the yellow egg noodle + thin vermicelli mei fun. I liked it and would order again but it’s not served “authentically” if that’s what you’re looking for. Crispy fish cake - verrrrry crispy. Different than the Thai tod mun. Served with Thai chili sauce. Sizzling tofu - there’s a layer of egg at the bottom and minced meat with some veggies on top. A nice flavorful gravy paired well with rice. Yam basket - my boyfriend and dad enjoyed this dish a lot. It’s unique if you’ve never had it before! Hainanese chicken rice - not bad! It’s not the best I’ve ever had and
